Kanu Nwankwo; Late mum of Super Eagles great to be buried on December 3

Late mum of Nigerian football great, Kanu Nwankwo will be laid to rest on Saturday, December 3 in Abia State.
Kanu’s mother, Mrs Sussan Nwannediya Kanu Iheme died on Wednesday, September 7; cause of her death has not been revealed by the family.
According to the chairman of the burial committee, Onyebuchi Abia, all arrangement has been made to give ‘Mama Atlanta '96’ a befitting burial.
Lots of dignitaries are expected to attend the funeral including Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu who has confirmed his attendance.
Complete Sports reports that Governor Ikpeazu has also ordered and mobilized the chairman of Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State to repair the road leading to the venue of the funeral.
