Tears , As Army Buries Commanding Officer, Others Killed By Boko Haram


The Nigerian Army is laying to rest fallen Lt Col M Abu-Ali, and six gallant soldiers, who were killed a few days ago in a fierce encounter with Boko Haram.
Until his death, Ali was the Commanding Officer (CO) of 272 Task Force Tank Battalion in Borno State.
Other gallant soldiers, who also lost their lives in the theatre of operation were:Sergeants Muazu Ibrahim, Hussani Jafaru, and Bassey Okon, Cpl Chukwu Simon, Able Seaman Patrick Paul, (Nigerian Navy), as well as Pte Salisu Lawal.
Tears flowing freely, as the soldiers are being laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery on Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Way.
