Government takes over Arik Airline (Check for details)

It seems the recession has reached the neck of the biggest airline in Nigeria, Arik airline as the authorities in Nigeria on Thursday officially
took over the management of the airline stating that the decision had become necessary in order to save the distressed airline.
Arik Air has been in financial trouble and the government said it was stepping in to prevent it from being distressed.
The Airline has not paid its workers and creditors for months and has at least eight of its aircraft grounded.
The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), had obtained a court order to take over the airline.
Although, the company, according to Arik Air’s deputy managing director,Ado Sanusi, will seek court order first, we all know 9ja; A place where the judiciary has no say. The court would of course rule in the government's favour.
But my advice for the government is that they should seek ways on how to alleviate the pathetic situation of Nigerians. Nigerians are hungry oh. If the economy is in a better shape industries, businesses, etc will not shut down. let them come and fulfil the promises they made before they entered office.
