Nigeria 3 Vs Algeria 1; Victor Moses shows his true value with brace

What else do you want to read, hear about
Victor Moses that you’ve not over the past couple of weeks?
Moses has been in the news for his imperious displays for Chelsea which has drawn commendation from several quarters.
“The last five years he’s been all over the place, he’s been shipped out to places [on loan], but like you said this formation has seemed to suit him better ,” Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes said this about him while several other football personalities have expressed their admiration for the Nigeria international.
Under Chelsea's new boss, Antonio Conte , Moses has become a completely different player. He has always been a skillful forward with some pace to burn but in his wing-back role at Chelsea, the former Wigan player has become a very discipline and dependable protector of their three-man defence.
The best part of Moses’ new form is that he has replicated it for Nigeria. His display for the Super Eagles in their 3-1 win over Algeria in the World Cup qualifier shows that he is even more dangerous in the Green, White, Green colours of Nigeria.
His wing-back role at Chelsea often restricts him to defending and playing strictly to the instructions of the pragmatic Conte. But with the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr has set Moses free. With his new found form and fitness, Moses can be the coup de grâce to oppositions in a freer role.
The Super Eagles front-line is filled with a slew of fantastic ballers but the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi are no where near the level Victor Moses is playing now.
Not to forget that Odion Ighalo, Moses Simon and Brown Idey e are still on the bench-exciting times for the Super Eagles, I must say.
Iheanacho and Iwobi were Super Eagles goalscorers against Zambia but against the better opposition that the Algerians put up, it was Moses that delivered. His goals and performance against Algeria show that Moses will play a key role in the Super Eagles race for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia
The Super Eagles midfield continues to flatter to deceive while the defence have been everything but convincing.
However, with Moses in the squad for the rest of the qualifiers, Nigerians can start planning trips to Russia in the summer of 2018.
