King Sunny Ade, Papa Wemba, Wizkid, others win big at Awards Night

All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held the 3rd edition of its award ceremony on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Eko Hotel and Suites Victoria Island, Lagos in Nigeria.
Special guests in attendance include the governor of Lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode,
Minister of Information and Culture ; Lai Mohammed among others. other guest at the awards night were Kenny Ogungbe, Desmond Elliot, Efe Omorogbe, Ali Baba, Yaw, Dj Abass, Olisah Adibua among others.
The African stars who lit up the stage with breathtaking performances included the Soweto Choir , P-square, Dare Art Alade, Diamond Platnumz, Brymo , Seyi Shay, Aramide, YCee, VVIP, Navio, Stanley Enow, Patoranking, Falz,
among others,
The late Rumba icon, Papa Wemba , Manu Dibango, and King Sunny Ade were honoured at the event. This yielded not just the entertainment, but an extra touch of class to the night. With Diamond Platnumz, Brymo and
Aramide delivering an emotional performance in celebration of these maestros.
